The Gospel

The doctrine of Christ, as recorded by the Apostles and those who witnessed His life, is preserved in the Bible, our foundation of faith. We believe their testimony that, two thousand years ago, Christ died and rose again, and that we too, died and rose with Him. We believe in all of the implications of our death and resurrection.

Christs death and resurrection
- Christ fulfilled “The Law” & “The Prophets”, and nailed it to the cross. Thus fulfilling and bringing the old covenant, “The Law” (Torah), to a finish.
- Christ condemned sin in the flesh. Thus freeing us from the punishment and the captivity of sin.
- Christ judged the world, overcame it, and exposed the darkness of it.
Our death and resurrection in Christ
- **Death to “The Law”:** We are no longer under “The Law” therefore we cannot break it
- **Death to Sin:** We ****are no longer slaves to sin, we are freed from sin. Our old man, our body of sin has been destroyed. We are no longer in the flesh, but in the spirit.
- Death to the World: We have overcome the world, and the lusts of it.

To truly believe this, all of the implications, ramifications, and logical outcomes is to truly immerse yourself with the spiritual baptism of pure water, to completely have faith in this Word is to pass from death into life, from darkness into light, and into freedom from sin.
